Tour in Japan
I’m touring Japan with our Odysseus String quartet. The program consists of mostly finnish music, including contemporary composers like Juha T. Koskinen and Outi Tarkiainen. The concerts are February 19 at Aichi University of Nagoya, February 20 at Kokoti cafe in Nagoya, February 21 at the concert hall of Constanze house in Gifu and February 24 at the Finnish embassy in Tokyo.
February 28th we will perform the “Soleil noir” by Juha T. Koskinen at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki during the Sibatomo concert.

Mozart String Trio KV 563
On Tuesday, 9th of January is the first concert of the Winter Chamber Series organized by Lappeenranta City Orchestra. I’m going to play with violist Markus Sarantola and cellist Esa Lehtola the wonderful, huge E-Flat Major Divertimento by Mozart. Welcome! The concert will start at 19:00 at Helkiö hall.

Bach Double Concerto
The traditional Bravissimo! soiree is organized on Thursday, 4th of February at Lappeenranta hall. The program is fun and full of surprises. Maybe also The Double Violin Concerto by Bach will be heard… The concert starts at 19:00 and there is free entrance!

Quartet for the End of Time
I would like to invite you all to listen to our performance of Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time. The performance will take place on Wednesday, 27th of January at Lappeenranta hall. The concert starts at 19:00 and we will play in the second half.
It has been great to work with Eeva-Maria, Mirka and Jorma. This piece has been one of my favourites for a long time. It’s a dream coming true to study and perform it.
